App shuts down at startup
« on: February 07, 2018, 02:36:24 AM »
Hi.

Since the update last week, the app closes at startup. The icon/startup page shows, but then the app crashes and i’m Back to my iPhone home screen. When double clicking the home-button, it looks like the app is active, but when trying to enter into the app, it crashes again.

It’s been a while since my last backup, so hopefully I don’t have to re-install the app.

Have you got a 6s running iOS 11? If that's you, your data is corrupt. The app has a built-in sanitizer but it's too much of a mess to sort it out without crashing. I'm afraid reinstalling and hoping your last backup was clean is your only option. Sorry.

Yes, that is me. iOS Version 11.2.5 and 6S.

Thanks for the feedback.

By the way; any chance for automated backup? I am so poor at remembering to push that button.

In the app settings, the app will tell you the date of your last backup. How about I make that a bit more visible by perhaps adding it to the main screen?

You can move it from inside the Settings screen to an icon directly the tray, maybe add a little notification red dot to the More button and to the Backup icon if it's been more than a week or so? That way you don't clutter the main screen with more stuff.

I'll play around with it and try to find something that works.
